We are looking forward to the holiday weekend and have a line up that encourages engagement at the club while also respecting county and statewide recommendations for social distancing and wearing a mask while participating in event

VIRTUAL COCKTAIL BINGO: Join fellow members via Zoom for Cocktail bingo from the comfort of your home or boat! This event will be 21+, full details are on the SDYC website.
 
PATRIOTIC "MASK"ERADE: Purchase a fun and colorful patriotic mask from the front entrance of the club and post a picture in your mask on social media using the hashtag on Facebook / Instagram #sdycmaskerade to be automatically entered! Participation is encouraged all weekend and a winner will be selected randomly from tagged photos on Sunday 7/5 at 5:00pm
 
SILLY SAILOR WALK: Show off your silliest moves at SDYC... we’ll record walks throughout the weekend, but encourage you to post your best walks on social media with the hashtag on Facebook / Instagram #sdycsillysailorwalk
 
PATRIOTIC PET COSTUME CONTEST: Share a photo of your pet from the comfort of your own home dressed in their 4th of July finest with the hashtag on Facebook / Instagram #sdycpatrioticpet. Participation is encouraged all weekend and a winner will be selected randomly from tagged photos on Sunday 7/5 at 5:00pm

VIRTUAL PHOTO BOOTH: Enjoy a virtual photo booth experience. Snap a photo or selfie and send via text to (858) 299-2700. Click here for further instructions and check back next Monday to see all the photos from the weekend!

KIDS VIRTUAL FISHING TOURNAMENT: Send a picture of your child’s catch between 8am on Friday and 5pm on Sunday to Patrick Russell at 760-443-3102. Photos of catches will be displayed in next month’s Mainsheet, and snack bar coupons will be awarded for various catches (most unique, biggest, most fish, etc). Have fun, stay safe, and remember to please wear a mask when dock fishing.

Big Bay Boom: Salute to Heroes, a 30-minute pre-show looking back at the 20-year history of bayside pyrotechnical extravaganza of the largest Independence Day fireworks show on the West Coast.

Big Bay ‘Bust’: 2012’s spectacular fireworks fail
Beginning at 9 p.m., the fireworks go off during a Big Bay Boom Encore, a 24-minute fireworks spectacular produced from the best moments of Big Bay Booms from the last five years and including never-seen Drone 5 video from 2019.
