The Kettenburg & Classic Yacht Regatta was held June 24-26, 2011 with great weather and wind conditions. There were 22 entries, making for lots of wood, varnish and of course, fierce competition. Hosted by SDYC and the Ancient Mariners Sailing Society, the 3 day event went off like clockwork. Starting with the Friday Concours D'elegance, followed by buoy racing on Saturday with a BBQ dinner and presentation on the Kettenburg legacy that evening, and ending with a dynamic bay race that started and ended in front of the club complete with race management from the SDYC cupola. Many thanks to all the volunteers, the SDYC staff and all our sponsors for making this event a signature event.

John Driscoll was the overall race winner and Jim Oberg was "Best in Show" at the Concours D'elegance.
