Under the direction of Fleet Captain Bennet Greenwald, #18 MINX, a fleet meeting was held at the SDYC to discuss necessary adoption of new Fleet Constitution, By Laws and Specifications. These are specific to the San Diego PC Fleet and do not affect the former association Rules. With the passing of Paul Kettenburg and with the restoration of so many boats, it is clearly necessary to adopt a set of Rules for the San Diego PC Fleet so that we can act legally and in accordance with due process. We should adopt the new rules and elect new Fleet Association officers, and a measurer as an executive committee. That Executive Committee will then look at modifications, weights, sails, equipment and restoration methods of the boats and consult with the Fleet as appropriate.
