The Women's Winter Invitational Regatta kicks off Friday, 3 Feb. We will be welcoming 87 sailors representing 24 yacht clubs from 4 countries.
SPECTATING
The racing format is fast-paced, short-course one-design sailing in La Playa Cove with easy spectating from the ends of E, F, and G Docks. Teams swap boats in a complex rotation designed to ensure everyone gets to race against everyone. When the wind is up, races can start every few minutes, ensuring maximum exciting race action.
FRIDAY WELCOME RECEPTION
All SDYC members are invited to join the Welcome Reception on February 3, 2023 from 4 to 6 PM on the Front Deck. We will have music, wine-tasting by Sipwell Wines, and light hors d’oeuvres to celebrate the kickoff of this fun annual event. Come help us welcome the teams who have come from all over the world to race here in San Diego.
