GOAL: Build and increase confidence and skills in CFJs and C420s with spinnakers. Work on upwind and downwind boat handling while frequently switching partners and boat positions
SAILOR SKILL LEVEL: double handed sailors looking for more experience in CFJs and C420s, High School sailors wanting to learn club style racing and spinnaker work, and/or advance sabot racers with some experience. If you are a girl interested in sailing the US Sailing Ida Lewis regatta this summer at SDYC you should plan on attending. If you are unsure if this clinic is right for you, please contact Molly at molly@sdyc.org.
ENTRY FEE: $120/SDYC members, $150/non-members. Sign ups are as individuals, pairings will be frequently switched as will as boat position.
SCHEDULE:
Saturday: 10AM – 4PM Clinic and debrief
Sunday: 10AM – 4PM Clinic and debrief, after sailing snacks included.
MEALS: Sailors should bring their own lunch, on the water snacks, and water.
GEAR: Be prepared to be on the water sailing for 3 to 4 hours each day. Bring appropriate gear, dry bags with extra gear, and plenty of snacks and water.
