We will be holding our annual SDYC beginner skiff clinic on Jan 27-28. We invite sailors interested in getting acquainted with and learning basic skiff sailing skills. We will have several International 14 skiffs available to learn and sail with numerous well qualified coaches including National and Regional championship boats, skippers and crews. We will start with basic boat tuning and move on to dry land training exercises emphasizing trapezing and foot work through the boat. This will be followed by on the water sailing with practiced skiff sailors. We will have debriefs after sailing and repeat the process on Sun for a second day of skiff sailing. Bring your wetsuit, lifejacket and harness if you have one, we will have additional trapezee harness' for use.
