Welcome to the 2019 Kettenburg & Classic Yacht Regatta!
This is a very special year as we celebrate 90 YEARS of Kettenburg racing designs, starting with their first, the Pacific Class. The PC’s have designated this year’s event as their San Diego Bay Fleet Championship and encourage all eligible classic designs to come join them!
We have a great three days planned with a Friday Concours D‘Elegance where all of our competitors will be med moored on the SDYC Front Dock. Boats are encouraged to come up with a cocktail from the decade of your boat design to share with the judges. There will also be snacks and beverages on the dock and those looking for a full dinner are encouraged to head up to the front deck for their Friday Deck Dinning.
Saturday the fleet will head to the Ocean for a couple of buoy races before coming in to enjoy a reception and learn about the history of the PC Fleet in San Diego.
Sunday will be the Charity Bay Race with a random leg course held inside San Diego Bay and finishes off the SDYC Cupola. Trophies will be held on the deck afterwards with more snacks.
