The November Darren and Terry Show will feature some unique wines. The vintner is a company called Olsen Perri. The two partners live in Point Loma and craft their wines in National City. The fruit is sourced from California’s Central Coast. The guys produce a chardonnay and four different pinot noirs.
For the dinner, we will be pouring the chardonnay and three of the pinots. At this time the working menu is: Chardonnay and sautéed mahi mahi or grouper with lemon beurre blanc; the Spanish Springs Pinot with chicken crepes and gruyere sauce; the Bassi Vineyard Pinot with a fettucini carbonara and the Hilliard Bruce Pinot with a duck stew in puff pastry. Dessert is Darren’s choice.
