Registration is now closed for those bringing boats. Please feel free to register as a crew member.
Get ready for the summer and the Vixen Cruise to Catalina by brushing up your cruising skills. We will practice docking, anchoring, picking up a mooring, and MOB. We will also cover basic safety and navigation skills.
Training will be on participants’ boats at SDYC. Training is for both skippers and crew on sail and power boats.
Don't have a boat? We'll put you on one.
Have a boat but don't have crew? We will sign people up to sail with you.
Lunch is provided, plus wine with the debrief. And every participant will get a copy of J.J. Isler’s book Sailing for Dummies.
