For many years, the Cruising Fleet has been visiting Chula Vista, at the California Yacht Marina, for an annual celebration of Summer. This year we are back for another stay. We will arrive after noon on Friday the 20th and depart on Sunday the 22nd.
FRIDAY JULY 20
Arrive after noon, thecost for overnighting in a slip is $1.00 per foot per night. Each Cruiser will be required to provide the California Yacht Marina Dock master with a copy of their Insurance Declaration and a copy of their boat registration. SDYC docked boats will have our Dockmaster Office forwarding copies from our records for you, member boats that are at other marinas will need to provide copies of the above mention documents to the CYM Dockmaster. All slips have power and water. Keys to restrooms are included.
1730 - 1900: BYO Mixer on the CYM Patio outside the Office. Bring your own beverages; there will be simple hors d'oeuvres provided. After the gathering, you can cook aboard or meander down the boardwalk to the Galley at the Marina for dinner.
SATURDAY JULY 21
0830: “Braggable” Breakfast on the dock. Each Cruising Yacht is to bring their most braggable breakfast item to share with the rest of the fleet. Coffee, Juice and Mimosas will be provided. The specific dock location will announced on Friday evening.
1730: Wine and Potluck Hors d'oeuvres aboard the Tall Ship “Bill of Rights”
Show up in your most unusual Nautical Hat, and compete for votes cast by the attendees for the “Most Fashion Cruiser”, one for the ladies and one for the guys. This event will wrap up about 1900.
SUNDAY JULY 22
Sunday morning is a leisure morning for the fleet, depart by noon. The Galley at the Marina is open for breakfast, turn in your bathroom key before departure.
Cost: $25 per person for the provisions that are being provided.
$1.00 per foot per night
