Extreme Sailing Series is coming to San Diego! 

Fellow member and sailor extraordinaire Matt Reynolds will bring us up to speed on this global event now coming to San Diego October 19-22, 2017! With the racing taking place just five metres from the shore of Harbor Island, the series looks set to make a show-stopping return to the Americas for the penultimate Act. The 2017 Extreme Sailing Series are in the eleventh edition of the series and the seventh year of it being a fully global event. This year, the series continues in the GC32 foiling catamaran.  Matt's presentation, with a combination of video and slides, will prove to be exciting and informative about how this event has grown, how it benefits the economy of San Diego and the concept of "foiling". Matt has been a professional sailor for the past 21 years, and his resume includes winning the National and World Championships as well as holding several offshore records. Matt and his partners founded Extreme Sailing San Diego in 2015 which has been working with the Extreme Sailing Series to bring this event to San Diego for the next five plus years.
