The PC was the first wooden racing sloop designed and built especially for
Southern California waters. Designed by George Kettenburg Jr.
in 1929, the PC has survived over 77 years and still displays an active presence on the water today. Within the following pages, we have tried to assemble a history of the vessels, skippers and notable fleet events. We have also attempted to keep PC enthusiasts informed as to the status of racing and fleet activities to date. Readers who might have additional information available can be a part of this history by keeping the dream alive and donating photos and reports to the fleet, via the San Diego Yacht Club. Please enjoy our PC website!!
