Thank you so much for supporting my crew and I in the C420 North Americans! It was my first big away regatta, and although it was a pretty light air regatta, it was an exceptional experience and I was very proud to represent SDYC. The regatta was hosted on an airport, allowing for lots of space to store and rig boats. The conditions on the water were extremely shifty and puffy, and for the most part light air. The second day did show a bit more breeze, and we were able to get a good bit of trapping in. Unfortunately, because the breeze did not cooperate, we did not get to sail the last two days, finishing the regatta in 10th out of 76. Nevertheless, it was still a very valuable experience, and we both learned a ton. Thanks again for your support and I look forward to representing SDYC again in the near future!
