The SDYC Green SubCommittee reports on challenges presented during regattas around the country, and describe what the hosts are doing to provide green alternatives to many of the standard practices that take place during a regatta.

Etchells Worlds Clean Regattas standards were communicated in print and at four Club events prior to the Regatta.  Regatta Chair and Green Team members interfaced with Club staff to meet standards.

At the 2011 Yachting Cup at San Diego Yacht Club, the Green SubCommittee was hard at work to present a Green regatta.

The SDYC Green SubCommittee set up a booth during the 2011 Opening Day festivities and offered information, give away items, and ice water.
