The Vallarta Race boats each carry a Yellowbrick Race Tracker, which will allow family, friends, and race fans to watch the progress of the boats sailing the 1000nm course from San Diego to Puerto Vallarta.

On Thursday the 16th of February, Patrick Snow and Scott Sinks traveled to Jensen Beach Florida to compete in the prestigious C420 Midwinters Regatta. 

US Sailing's 2011 Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswomen of the Year Awards. Bill Hardesty and Anna Tunnicliffe were celebrated February 22nd at US Sailing's Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year Awards in San Francisco.

The Women’s Luncheon Program got off to a spectacular start on February 7th.  Nearly 190 women attended the Fashion Show and lunch.  Six SDYC women modeled clothes from White House | Black Market to the cheers of the crowd.

Sandy Purdon, who was the Executive Director of the San Diego Yacht Club at the time and helped put the victorious challenge together, joined Good Morning San Diego to talk about the anniversary celebration.

ESPN Classic, producted by Gary Jobson, will air the 1987 America's Cup Retrospective several times on Saturday, February 4th.  SDYC will host the victorious sailors from the Stars & Stripes team at a dinner event where the film will also be aired.

It's time to get ready for the 2012 sailing season! In 2 months we'll be welcoming all of you to the San Diego NOOD and the second NOOD of the season. The San Diego dates for this coming year are March 16-18.
