Welcome Finn Sailors,
On behalf of the SDYC Board of Directors, Flag Officers, and the SDYC Finn Fleet, we would like to welcome you to the 2018 Finn Master North American Championships. We are very excited to have over 36 Finns registered!
Couple of items to bring to your attention:
- See the “Towing Guide”
- Please make sure you have your Finn legal tow line NO Less than 8 Meters long! (No, cannot use mainsheet)
- Tow leaves the ramp next to C Dock promptly at 9:45 AM and 10:00 AM, wind or not.
- MEASUREMENTS will begin Thursday, Sept. 20th at 9:00 AM, on the Star Hoist Platform between “B” and “C” Docks. Order will be Order in which completed registration received by SDYC. Measurement on Thursday, open until 4:00 PM.
Social for the weekend:
Thursday – Spinnaker Deck – 4:00pm to 6:30pm
- Hosted Draft Beer
- Mix Drinks – Sailors need to go to the bar
- Chips and Ranch dressing
Friday – Spinnaker Deck – 5:00pm to 7:00pm
- Live Music – John Fretwell
- Hosted Draft Beer
- No Host Bar
- Pulled Pork Sliders, Macaroni Salad, Coleslaw & Cheese Quesadilla with Chips & Salsa
Saturday – Frost Room – 6:00pm

- Buffet Dinner
- Piped in music
