2024 J/22 Beer Can Series


La Playa

Thursday nights, May 9 - August 29

The Beer Can Competitors Meeting will be Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 1700 on the Sail Wash Lawn by I Dock.

Open Distance Fleet Race:

  • Racing starts at 1500
  • Limited to 10 teams each week
  • This series will be scored independently of the La Playa series and separate trophies will be awarded for this division at the end of the year.
  • No racing on May 30, July 4, August 1, August 8

La Playa Series Fleet Racing (Sold Out)

  • Entries will be limited to 20 teams per night. Skipper entries open to J/22 fleet members only (or SDYC member chartering a boat on a per-use basis).
  • Silver Fleet Racing: Starts at 1700
  • Gold Fleet Racing: Starts approx 1800
  • No racing on July 4 or August 8
