The 2008 Catalina Island Conservancy Ball is quickly approaching, and the Conservancy is thrilled to have the San Diego Yacht Club’s support. Helping out this year on the Ball are last year’s Ball Chairs Mari and Mike Fink and Ellen Moxham. This annual event will be held on Saturday, April 12th, in the world-famous Avalon Casino Ballroom. General tickets will be available online beginning Friday, February 1st. General tickets are $200 each for a night of big band music, dancing, fine dining, live and silent auctions, and a few new surprises. Sponsorships are still available for the Ball starting at the $1,500 level. The popular VIP Sponsor Party will be held just before the Ball at Casa del Monte, Philip Knight (P.K.) Wrigley’s stunning hillside home since 1927 and newly restored by its current residents Alison Wrigley Rusack (Philip’s granddaughter) and her husband Geoff.
